Ron Hantman, GM
Ron Hantman, of the pioneers in the Israeli Internet market for almost a decade, was part of the leading walla.co.il portal and nrg-Maariv portal as director of business development. Hantman had gained a broad and thorough understanding of Mobile and web content, with the emphasis on their monetization through new media platforms (Internet, mobile devices, IPTV etc). Besides his rich new-media career, Hantman took part in the production and marketing of several feature films to be distributed worldwide and holds a BA in film studies from TAU.
Dan Chen, Founder
Dan Chen had founded Tapuz Mobile in 2001, brining it to be one of the leading players in the field of mobile content development and aggregation in Israel. Chen has many years of experience in the area of wireless value added services (VAS). Prior to his position in Tapuz, Chen was the Director of Marketing and Business development of TippCom cellular services, one of the first companies in the world to offer mobile marketing.
Since March 2008, Mr. Chen is the CEO of Tapuz People (traded at the TASE), a daughter company of SUNY Israel and leading Israeli social network and video broadcasting sites.
Mr Chen holds an MBA from Recanati graduate school of business administration, Tel-Aviv University, an LLB and a B.A. in economics from Tel-Aviv University.
Alex Zchut, Head of Tapuz mobile development team
Mr. Zchut manages Tapuz mobile development team. He has vast of experience in mobile internet (WAP), SMS and MMS applications and video applications. Mr. Zchut holds a BA in computer science from Sapir academy.
Orit Meir, Director of mobile internet (WAP) products
Ms. Meir serves as the director of mobile internet and responsible for Tapuz mobile WAP activities and products. She has many years of experience in new media, especially with mobile and music.
Dubi Finger, Director of mobile content distribution
Mr. Finger is responsible for Tapuz mobile content distribution activities (video, games etc.). Prior to his position in Tapuz mobile he worked for 4 year in Orange Israel content division.
